1 Draw the tape out of the case and surround your arm or any other body part

2 Put the plastic peg attached to the end of the tape into locking pin

Because the measuring tape housing is 2 inch wide,wrap it around your body part, insert the cylinder needle into the hole, then read off the reading without having to add another 2 inch.
